Gerald L. Friedrichsen
 
Gerald L. Friedrichsen joined the firm in 1979 and is head of the firm’s trial department. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and law degree, cum laude, from Creighton University. While in law school, Jerry was Editor-in-Chief of the Creighton Law Review and a member of Alpha Sigma Nu. Following law school, Jerry was a law clerk, first for Justice Fallon Kelly of the Minnesota Supreme Court and then Judge Donald P. Lay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Jerry is a member of the Litigation and Torts and Insurance Practice Sections of the American Bar Association; the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys; the Nebraska Defense Counsel; and the Defense Research Institute. Jerry is active in the Nebraska and Omaha Bar Associations, most recently as a member of the Executive Council of the Omaha Bar and Chairman of the Insurance Committee of the Nebraska State Bar.  Jerry is also an active member in the Robert M. Spire Inns of Court. Jerry is admitted to practice before all Nebraska federal and state courts, Seventh, Eighth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal, United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Supreme Court.
